The Centre for Scottish Culture brings together members of the School of Humanities, Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (DJCAD), and other departments at the University of Dundee with interests in the literature, culture and history of Scotland and its people.
The Centre helps facilitate creative and academic collaboration among our staff, students, and the wider community, and showcases our innovative work on popular culture, including film, comics and graphic novels, as well as poetry, theatre and fiction.
We organize and host international conferences and symposia, exhibitions, festivals, research seminars, and a wide array of academic and creative projects.
Many of our activities consider the role of Scottish culture in a global context, and we would particularly welcome new partnerships across the world. Read more about our partnerships. Follow us on Twitter and the Facebook page.
